Marine Exhausts inline mufflers are round in shape and are made to take hose sizes from 100mm to 200mm. They should be mounted above the waterline and below the engine. The best position for silencing is either 40% or 80% of the total distance inline from the engine. Exhaust systems should have minimum fall of 4 degrees all the way to the outlet.
